RAKSHAK
A Trichoderma-based biopesticide that protects plant root systems and kills target pests effectively. Highly active against root and stem diseases, and especially useful where conventional fungicides fail to control root diseases.
Description
Rakshak is a biopesticide consisting of Trichoderma sps. It is a promising bio-control fungus that protects the root system of plants and kills the target pest effectively. It is highly active on root and stem roots, widely known for disease and nematode control of crop plants. Moreover, Rakshak is highly effective where conventional fungicides are not able to control root diseases. It controls pests through mycoparasitism; it secretes lytic enzymes and other complex inhibitory compounds that kill pests.
Benefits
- Protects crops from the majority of soil-borne diseases
- Improves soil condition
- Increases crop yield
- Reduces the use of chemical fungicides
- Most effective against root rot, damping off, and wilt
- Helps prevent the onset of powdery mildew and other foliar diseases
- Solubilizes phosphates and micronutrients
- Produces enzymes such as protease which help control Botrytis cinerea
- Aids solubilization and sequestration of inorganic nutrients
- Soil enriched with RAKSHAK reduces multiple fungicide treatments and protects crops from major plant diseases
