Rakshak is a biopesticide, consist of Trichoderma sps. It is a promising bio-control fungus that protects the root system of plant & kills the target pest effectively. It is highly active on root and stem roots, widely known for disease and nematode control of crop plants. Moreover, Rakshak is highly effective where conventional fungicides are not able to control the root diseases. It is known to control pest through mycoparasitism, it secretes lytic enzyme and other Complex Inhibitory Compounds that kills pest.

CONTENT:

1. Trichoderma sps. 2X106 CFU/g 1% (w/w), Sticking agent -CMC – 1%, Inactive Ingredients 98.0% (w/w), Moisture 35%, talc 63%.

2. Trichoderma sps. 1X108 CFU/ml in liquid form.

TARGET PEST/ DISEASE

Rakshak is highly effectively against grey mold caused by phytopthora, Fusarium, Damping off by pythium, Bacterial wilt, Blight and leaf spot caused by cercospora, Colletotrihom, Allernaria, Ascochyta, Macrophoamina, Myrothecium, etc.

RECOMMENDED FOR CROPS:

 Agricultural : Paddy, Sugarcane, Groundnut, Wheat, Maize, Sorghum, Bajra, Cotton and Sunflower. 

 Horticultural : Coffee, Tea, Cardamom, Vanilla, Chilli, Turmeric, Ginger, Pepper, Banana, Grape, Vegetables, Coconut,  Mango, Sapota, Amla, Pomegranate, Citrus and Spices.

MODE OF APPLICATION

1. RAKSHAK Powder

Seed Treatment: 1kg of seeds soaked in slurry of 40 g. of RAKSHAK, with 40g of Rice gruel. Shade dry seeds and after 24 hours, use the seeds for sowing.

Seedling treatment: Make slurry of 2 kg of RAKSHAK with 50 Liters of water. Dip the seedlings in this slurry for 10 minutes and use the seedlings for transplantation in the field.

Soil application: A mixture of 5 kg RAKSHAK, with 100 kg of organic manure, keep the mixture under shade for one week and apply to the soil.

Drip Irrigation: Mix 5Kg of RAKSHAK, in 100Liters of water, filter the mixture with a pure cloth;

use the filtered solution in drip irrigation for one acre.

2. RAKSHAK Liquid

Seed Treatment : Mix 6 ml RAKSHAK with required quantity of water for 1 Kg seed. Shade dry seeds and after 24 hours, use the seeds for sowing.

Seedling treatment: Mix 10ml of RAKSHAK with 1 Liters of water. Dip the seedlings in this for 30 minutes and use the seedlings for transplantation in the field.

Soil application: A mixture of 3L/ha RAKSHAK with 1000kg of organic manure, and apply uniformly.

Drip Irrigation: Mix 1L of RAKSHAK in 100L of water and apply.

Don’t use chemical fungicide after application of Trichoderma for 4-5 days.
